  • Voluntarily Provided Data: First and last name, display name, email address, and responses to onboarding questions (e.g., user intent, platform preference).
  • Referral Data: If you join via an invite, we link your signup to the unique code of the referring user.
  • Technical Data: IP address, browser type and version, time zone setting, browser plug-in types, operating system, and platform.
  • Usage Data: Information about how you use our website, including the path you took to find our site and your waitlist interactions.

How We Use Your Data

  • To provide the Service: To manage your waitlist rank and execute the referral system.
  • Communication (CAN-SPAM Compliance): To send you updates about your rank, product milestones, and launch invitations. You may opt-out of marketing emails at any time via the 'Unsubscribe' link.
  • Fraud Prevention: To detect and prevent fraudulent signups or 'gaming' of the referral system using bots or temporary emails.
  • Analytics: To understand user demographics to better tailor the THOTL™ platform for launch.

Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal data. We may share information with:

  • Service Providers: Cloud hosting (e.g., MongoDB, Azure), email delivery services, and analytics providers.
  • Legal Requirements: If required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights and safety of our users or THOTL™.

Children's Privacy (COPPA)

Our services are not intended for individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If we learn we have collected such data, we will delete it immediately.

We implement industry-standard security measures (SSL/TLS encryption) to protect your data. We retain your waitlist data until the general platform launch or until you request deletion.
